Incident
Manager

With
the Incident Manager, parents
can plan out
rules and punishments
that are appropriate when the rules are broken, then discuss these with their children. Creating
written rules and consequences will have a positive
effect on a child's behavior and help produce respect for
adults and authority. It
is very important that parents follow through
on discipline, stay consistent, and avoid over-punishing. Consequences will be more fair when planned out ahead of time.
The Incident
Manager implements a serious rule and consequence
system that is fully integrated with the other
parts of EasyChild Deluxe. Parents
may specify six different types of consequences
that can span up to four weeks. One
consequence might be dropping a child's privilege
level for a week or more. This is the
equivalent of grounding, but the child can still do extra chores and behaviors
to earn back privileges.
